Élet és Tudomány (Life and Science) magazine conducted an interview with our distinguished partner, Dr. Miklós Süth, Director of the Institute of Food Chain Science at the University of Veterinary Medicine.
Food chain science examines the journey of food from soil to consumer, highlighting its complexity as a system that integrates many scientific disciplines. At the Institute of Food Chain Science, researchers apply digital methods and artificial intelligence to strengthen food safety. The approach is based on the “One Health” concept, which emphasizes the close interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health. New challenges include ensuring food safety in relation to alternative proteins and changing consumer habits.
